At The Art Institute Online, you will benefit from learning together with students from many of The Art Institute schools nationwide. Our online Instructors are actively involved in your course work. They will be leading discussions and giving out assignments.

Most classes are designed so that you can participate day or night seven days a week. Many of our classes require that you participate five out of seven days in a week. The great part is that you can choose which classes you will be participating in.

A typical student spends a minimum of 12 hours per week plus an average of two to three hours each of those five days reading notes, preparing assignments, responding to discussions, etc. Our graphic design courses may require additional design time.

You can take one class or sign up for an entire degree or diploma program.
